Giving you the best service possible at a reasonable price is
nothing new for Chick's transmission. They have a family tradition
of making customers happy.
Chick Ruoti already had a distinguished career as V.P. and General
Manager of Lelis Transmission. To further his opportunity for growth,
he started Chick's Transmissions in 1976 at it's current location
with only 3 bays and no office, along with his sons Nick, 21, and
Tom,17.
Long hours, hard work and a unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction
brought a wave of new business based on word of mouth and customer
referrals. In 1979 they doubled their size adding three more bays.
Having outgrown their facility again in 1989, they added the current
front office space and doubled their building again to include a rebuild
center and 3 more bays which they leased to other automotive businesses.
In 1999, they built a similar building next door, moved their tenants
into the new building and expanded their operation into the 3 extra
bays. Today they have 10 employees. Chick's now serves 1200
to 1500 automobiles every year, including full service automotive
repair, drive train repair and classic vehicle restoration. |
